Shocking service, never had a viewing never had a phone call to say what they would do to help. Would never use them again
Poor service!!! . Alledgedly had a valuation booked for 10. 30 i took a morning off from work 2 accomodate the estate agent he must of knocked on my door with a eyebrow pencil it was that quiet and went in a jiffy i was sitting in the living room all morning having taken time off work. He must of had my mobile number yet no call either from him or herons office. I had the car parked outside all my windows open he must of had an inkling some one was in the recidence . I was totally annoyed and disapointed 2 say the least
Avoid this estate agent. We accepted an offer of a cash buyer who had to sell her house in order to buy our house. At the time any of the staff from Peter Heron explained to us the definition of a 'Cash Buyer'. We had lots of trouble with our solicitors when talking to Ashley he said why we didn't contact their solicitors again they did not share that information with us prior we contacted ours. After a bully court case form we had to pay a SALE invoice for a house which we did not sell. Absolutely disgraceful. As some people state below demand the terms and conditions before signing anything to these people.NegativeProfessionalism
Asked a few questions about a place for sale...simple questions and was informed that they would contact me with the answer. Nothing. I chased but was told they are trying to find out. A few days later the place was Sold STC. I was willing to go 30k over the asking price, but this company juat flogged the place to the first person who put a offer in....where as any good estate agent would try get the best price for a sale. If I was selling, I wouldn't dare use this company. The company says below that I was too late to ask my questions, this is a lie, I asked on the first day that the advert for the sale was put up online. Just an excuse of bad customer service.
I had a booking for a rental property which I phoned and phoned to see what was happening to get told there is a list I was 2nd on the list then phoned up to see what was happening with lockdown only to be told the property I had been waiting 4 week to hear from had gone I hadn't been notified or even viewed the property what is the point of a list and waiting when obviously the 1st person will get it very very unprofessional company havnt got the decency to even let the other people on list kno people are waiting and are in hurry and stressed about finding somewhere to live anyway without waiting for absolute nothing apart from a silly little I'm sorry at end of phone call UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANYNegativeQuality
Absolutely shocking rented us a house that was falling apart didnt help with repairs and I had a newborn baby ! Floor was sinking wall falling down ! Bath room damp as damp could get !
I phoned asking about their Ts & Cs. They said briefly what they were. I asked for full details in writing (email) but they refused. I asked again but they blanked me. Finally I asked them to go ahead but they ignored me! I don't know what they're hiding but this is no way to conduct business...!
I enquired about their Ts & Cs. They refused to let me have them in writing - saying they would "discuss them over the phone" and provide them when they have found a tenant. I said I might find their Ts & Cs unacceptable at the point the tenant has signed...! I pressed P.H. for them. They got quite unpleasant. In the end I said ok, please go ahead and find me a tenant. They refused! Conclusion: P.H. don't like legally savvy landlords and they don't want to reveal their Ts & Cs upfront. Why could this be...? Because their Ts & Cs are unreasonable and their costs are very expensive - so you might not engage their services...? I'm not even sure if this is legal practice...? At best this is very underhand...? Contact me and I will send a copy of the emails.
