I applied online for a valuation, received a call to confirm the appointment date and time. So far so good, but then no one turned up. When I called there was no record of the appointment. When I called I was informed I could only get an appointment the following day which was of no use to me as I had to return to work. Toom my business elsewhere, shame as I'd heard good things about them.

Your request for the appointment was made online and you’ll have received an email advising someone would contact you to confirm the appointment as the booking system is merely there for you to request a service. As no appointing had actually been confirmed with you, this explains why no-one attended. We did want to resolve matters and offer an alternative appointment and if you ever wish to take us up on this in the future, please contact one of the team.

I have recently purchased a Bungalow through Peter Heron and I have to say the service that you get these days is disgraceful, we moved in on the 28th October and we are still to receive a front door key to the property , to which we have had to leave our door open on a night time , after numerous telephone calls to them and getting no where I still don’t have a front door , they just keep telling us to ring out solicitors which has nothing to do with purchasing the keys to your new home .

Our Clients changed all locks to the property you purchased and informed us all new keys were left in the property for you on the day of completion? Be wary as they may cancel 2 hours before an appointment! Had valuation booked in, took day off work but they rang to cancel 2 hours before despite sending confirmation out that morning it was going ahead. They stated they had another valuation come in that was being paid for so they were cancelling mine to do that. Absolutely disgusting. Shouldn’t offer a valuation service and confirm a time if you are just going to cancel. Weather it’s a free valuation or not shouldn’t make a difference. If it’s a service you offer you should stick to it. They wouldn’t be flexible either and fit me in later the same day. Lost a potential customer as your not getting another chance.

Put an offer in on a £65000 house i was told that another offer had been put in for the asking price and that buyer was ready to go but I was told the vendor would wait until the completion of my house sale as long as I gave £65000 they said the house i bought had had repairs done them i got the keys and moved in to find the upstairs bathroom was still leaking through to the sitting room ceiling and the back door that had been smashed in while the property was empty had been replaced both things had not been done

Asked a few questions about a place for sale...simple questions and was informed that they would contact me with the answer. Nothing. I chased but was told they are trying to find out. A few days later the place was Sold STC. I was willing to go 30k over the asking price, but this company juat flogged the place to the first person who put a offer in....where as any good estate agent would try get the best price for a sale. If I was selling, I wouldn't dare use this company. The company says below that I was too late to ask my questions, this is a lie, I asked on the first day that the advert for the sale was put up online. Just an excuse of bad customer service.
