HI Aaron I am so sorry to hear that Mr Gordon decided to renegotiate at the last minute and put you in such a position. I feel it is totally unacceptable and unethical that a buyer could even consider doing such a thing, especially at the last minute. These actions although uncommon are totally beyond our control as Mr Gordon must have been very aware of his purchase position from the very beginning of the sale and tracked his fund value. Speaking to James I am well aware that through the whole sale he went above and beyond to push the sale forward and even made suggestions to negotiate through the chain when your buyer decided to renegotiate. In the end, I hear that you were able to pass the loss through the chain and weren’t financially inconvenienced, which is a relief. However, I do not feel Mr Gordons actions warrant a reduction in our already discounted fee. I feel my staff have dealt with the sale professionally and shouldn’t be penalised by the buyers actions.
