We've been with a lot of estate agents in the past, but never seen any as poor as this one. The 60 days notice period is absolutely ridiculous, where every other agent uses 30 days. The staffs here are simply untrustworthy. If anyone is stuck with them, please use only emails because they will simply deny anything that they said/ you reported over the phone. The main issue with this agent is that they support the landlord more than the tenant even if the landlord is in the wrong, so if you are a tenant I would strongly recommend staying as far from this agent as possible. Note to Belvoir: Please don't comment asking to get in contact to solve my issues because there has been over hundreds of phone calls and emails, and I am simply tired of it.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
This review is from a tenant perspective. I don't feel Belvoir S&B to care about the tenants and found their service rather unprofessional. As young (19 & 20) first time renters, information was held back regularly with the understanding we were naive. Your paperwork is outdated and information on it also outdated; which resulted in a lot of back-and-forth emails. Assured short hold tenancies do not require any notice as we were still in the stage of the fixed term, however you insisted on 60 days notice trying to keep us for longer, rejecting the 51 days we offered (which was a polite non-required courtesy). Notice to terminate is required when transferred onto a periodic tenancy which we were not yet on. We were not informed of the final inspection date and time; but your email still said that we were present! £45 to dust skirting that had been thoroughly cleaned a couple days before is a mikey take. I found Rosie C to not posses a solid knowledge of the job and I found Di D to be untrustworthy and one to take advantage of young renters. Can't remember most of the unpleasant experience as it was a while ago now, but we will for sure not be using you again.
