We first placed the property in the hands of Harrisons last summer and were told that it was likely to sell within six to eight weeks. This proved not to be the case! It took over nine months. Part of the problem was a downturn in the market. There were a good number of viewings but few firm offers. The staff were friendly and helpful whenever we contacted them but there were occasions when it felt as though we were chasing them for information or advice. We had to lower the price in order to achieve a sale.
