Estate agent encouraged to use on-line auction for sale of property, using sister agency iamsold. Offered a comparison of traditional and on-line auction and agreed on-line as property empty. Valuation for property was lower than other estate agents but John Shepherd were recommended and we agreed sale price of £175,000, with a reservation price of £160,000. I was disappointed that it appeared on Rightmove at £160,000. Majority of viewings were from buy-to-let landlords, rather than the broader interest I would have expected from a low-priced 3 bed family home. Commend Nancy for keeping me up to date and aware of choices. Overall, John Shepherd did help reduce some of the stress of selling. I also recommend Medway Law, the legal firm recommended by John Shepherd/iamsold. They successfully completed the sale a week ahead of the deadline.

Our experience has been fantastic with John Shepherd. All the way from renting the house to vacating. Some people that I'd to mention are, Quentin, Cheryl, John, David and Lara. They made sure we were supported throughout our tenancy duration and with our vacating process as well. Thanks to the whole team again.

We bought our first house through John Shepherd in Solihull and had a great experience. We dealt mainly with Katie and Shannon who were both fantastic - helpful, professional and efficient. When we had problems with our conveyancers, Shannon helped us to very quickly switch to a recommended conveyancer and sorted it all out extremely promptly. The whole house purchase process happened really quickly from start to finish, helped massively by John Shepherd. They really made things easy for us. Reason for 4 stars is that we had a bit of difficulty during the offer process. We were refused a second viewing on the property before putting in an offer of at least asking price (despite there being no other interest on the house). We've not heard of this happening elsewhere and the member of staff we dealt with was not very professional. Once the offer was accepted though, everything went very smoothly from there. Moving house can be a stressful experience. It took us a long time to sell our property but both Callum & Courtnie persevered and near to the end of the process we had several offers to choose from.. They followed up and kept us informed throughout the process and were always polite and helpful.

As a landlord of 4 properties, I normally recommend John Shepherd to other landlords, especially Senka and Alan J for their local knowledge and expertise. However in the last 12 months I have used them to market and procure tenants for 2 properties, on both occasions the "back office" administration team service has been poor, such as wrong tenancy agreements being sent out, lost property keys. As a consequence I would hesitate to continue to recommend John Shepherd

Where do I start my property was not even ready so many more repairs that needed doing Me and my partner waited almost 4 months for this property sometimes we were left in the dark not knowing nothing Being told that I was getting calls back but never did! And now JS are asking for a deposit while I am in the property which is ridiculous to hear The property is overpriced and still to this day is not finished yet and I have been here for over a month Our advisor who looked after our case Left right at the end so we had to file for of our details and proof again all we have is a sorry, it is not good enough from their side, When I did call and go into JS most of staff were really friendly and helpful And understood our situation well
