They advertised an inhabitable flat on arrival for viewing the entrance looked like a dumping field I phoned them to cancel the viewing. Due to shortage of accommodation agents just advertise anything , unfortunate situation 😕 …

DO NOT RENT A PROPERTY FROM THESE NORTHWOOD. After 3 years of renting a property through this estate agents, when we left property as same condition as we received from this Northwood Agency, we cleaned everything properly, after all this cleaned properly they didn’t find anything so then they have excused with heating positions and shower seal missing points and they kept our all deposit amount, i was so much angry but my wife said leave it, they are illiterate people no point to argue, and actually is not them fault this is how them parents educate them that’s why they are treating same with other people, they just need proper guidance or may be need schooling again…. Absolutely horrible agency, rude staff and do not care about thier tenants at all and just refuse to contact you….. if anyone need more information please contact me i have full evidence I can’t attached here but i have already reported to council and gave them all my evidence against this agency and whoever facing any problems please report to your council they will take action…. And i will also request to all tenants whoever facing problems with this agency just leave your feedback on social media against this agency because i have checked so many negative reviews on google and they replied with an automatic template message to everyone but they don’t care so now its time to leave review on social media then they will realised and if anyone make some video that will more helpful for other people…. Avoid at all costs and read reviews online before engaging with any services with Northwood Sale. Do not use this company under any circumstances. You have been warned

I reached out to Northwood South Manchester to rent out my property and was visited by the manager, Daniel Harris. He agreed to a certain rental amount and sent a confirmation right away, which gave me a positive impression of the agency. However, things quickly went downhill from there. They said they wanted to visit the property again to start preparing it for rent, which I agreed to. But after that, they never came back to me. I followed up with them through emails for an update on the progress, but they never responded. After a day of chasing them, they finally replied and said they didn't want to proceed with the rental agreement. I'm extremely disappointed with Northwood South Manchester's unprofessional behavior. They initially expressed interest in renting out my property, but then failed to follow through on their promises. It's not only a waste of my time and effort, but it's also unfair to leave me hanging after I've invested so much in preparing my property for rent. I wouldn't recommend Northwood South Manchester to anyone looking to rent out their property. They're not professional, reliable, or trustworthy, and they've left me feeling frustrated and disappointed with their services. Their lack of communication and follow-through has made it clear that they're not a reliable real estate agency to work with. In conclusion, I would advise others not to waste their time with Northwood South Manchester. They may give you a positive impression at first, but ultimately, they're not capable of providing the level of service that you deserve when renting out your property.

We would like to give our feedback and honest opinion about Northwood South Manchester Office (Sale Branch), which is as follows: Taking advantage and hiding behind Northwood Estate Agents' good reputation, the South Manchester Office (Sale Branch) is inefficient and unprofessional. We have rented a property through this branch for more than three and a half years paying ca. £55,000 overall. For this substantial amount of rent and money, the services we received from the South Manchester Office (Sale Branch) were poor and sub-standard. Just as examples here: we were left without hot water and heating when the boiler was broken for a long amount of time, we had no washing machine for nearly a month having to take all our clothes to the Launderette and were left waiting with a broken pipe, not being able to use the water (which inconvenienced both our neighbours and ourselves), for nearly two weeks. Always blaming the others, this Office damages the relationships between Landlord and Tenant. Fortunately, we got on very well with our Landlord who always expresses his thanks for the excellent care we took of his property and we were grateful for being able to live in his well-structured, very nice house. And maybe, just one more example: in the middle of Covid lockdown, when everything was at a standstill and we were all stuck in our houses not knowing what do best to get out of the pandemic, the South Manchester Office (Sale Branch) increased our rent by £100/month: if you don't like then move (!?) ..type of thing. Personally, I would feel ashamed to work for such an office. Lastly, we've moved out of the rented property one day earlier than stated in the Tenancy Contract, leaving the house in very good conditions and providing sets of spare keys (worth ca.£70). An independent body, who recommended that our deposit be returned in full, checked the property. Despite all this, our deposit was not returned. Following endless e-mails and nearly two months later, since our deposit had not been returned, we had to take legal action. Then, a part of our deposit was returned. To this day, we are still disputing the sum of £164 with South Manchester over a technicality. This amount was retained as “pay of arrears” from our deposit. We are constantly, still receiving unpleasant e-mails from this Office. Knowing what we know now, be it a Landlord or a Tennant, we would walk away from Estate Agent: it is not worth the aggravation. Hopefully this feedback would help with making an informed decision when choosing to have Northwood South Manchester (Sale Branch) represent you or get indeed, get involved in any way with this office.

Horrible customer service. When we went to look at the house, the agent simply told us to "go look around." He did not assist us in any way, and when we finally made an offer to rent the house, they said it was too small for us. This is the second occasion in which we have been subjected to such discrimination by Northwood. When someone from Eastern Europe tries to rent from them, they act as if it's some kind of joke, which was our experience when we sought to rent from them three years ago. When they started smirking at us when we were asking questions, I couldn't help but feel that we were being treated differently throughout the whole conversation. It seemed as though they were making fun of our accent. Didn't anticipate encountering such bias in the workplace. On that day, they informed us that they were unable to offer us a two-bedroom property since it is insufficiently spacious for a couple who has two young children. We lucked out since another agency that wasn't as bigoted as the first did rent us a house that was the same size as the one next door. A week later, Northwood rented the house next door to an English family with youths. They refused to rent it to us.

DO NOT RENT FROM NORTHWOOD. After 2 years of renting a property through this estate agents we had nothing but issues. All the upstairs windows in the property would not open and it took 2 years for them to be fixed ( fire risk). The boiler was broken for 2 months leaving us with no hot water or Heating ( we had a new born baby at the time) they refused to re-carpet the living room despite the carpet being 15 years old and smelling. Then said it I replaced thr carpet at my own cost they would leave our rent at the price agreed and would arrange new contract However 2 months after i paid for a new carpet they put our rent up by over 200 pound. Forcing our family to move a month before Xmas. This is just the tip of the iceberg with the issues and the staff are rude when the office Is contacted. I have been out of the address now for nearly 2 months and despite it being agreed and forms signed to return our deposit this has still not happened meaning I was 700 pound short over Xmas. Northwood are now ignoring my emails. Absolutely horrible company, rude staff and do not care about thier tenants at all and just refuse to contact you. I am currently seeking legal advice.
