We sold our house through Thomas Morris, Royston, a few years ago. They provided an absolutely excellent service throughout - proactively looking for buyers for our house, especially when our first buyer pulled out, and keeping us up-to-date regularly. Our house move took over a year, thanks to 2 sets of committed buyers withdrawing for personal reasons. We chose Preston Baker at Oakwood, Leeds because of the single point of contact Gemma Duxbury, who formed a WhatsApp group with us. She was warm, supportive and approachable throughout especially when having to deliver 'bad news', which she always did via a phone call. We had little contact therefore with the office, but Gemma was always responsive when needed. Each of the three times that our house went on market, Gemma and the office had plenty of viewers lined up and we sold quite quickly on each occasion. There were a couple of times during the process when we felt that little progress was being made and we had to be proactive ourselves, forming a relationship with our vendors and our buyers. However, the fact that we are finally in our last 'forever home' is largely due to Gemma holding our hands on our tortuous journey. We would recommend Preston Baker and, particularly, Gemma.
