Registered with a few agents and most didn't even bother to call me. Winkworth helped me find a flat to rent and despite a few false starts kept going until they secured me the flat that is exactly what I requested at the beginning. Moved in within a week and they sorted, very quickly, a couple of little niggles. The 2 James were excellent and very patient. I would recommend them to anyone looking to buy or rent in reading

Always on time to appointments and knew a lot about the properties we were viewing, which as we discovered, is not true of all agents! Once we had found a property we liked, Robin in particular spent a lot of time going through the reasons why we had offered what we had, our own circumstances and discussing comparable properties for sale/sold, before presenting our offer to their client. I felt that they actually cared about the quality of an offer as well as just a number on a page. When it came to selling we used their sales department who persevered despite the first three prospective purchasers pulling out! ive dealt with winkworth (Jon, James, Aoife and all the admin team) for only a matter of weeks, and i feel so much more valued then i did compared to the previous estate agency i was using. it is literally like comparing black and white; the difference in attentiveness is huge and in hindsight i wish i could have started using them 2-3 years ago. they keep me constantly in the loop with regards to updates and from what i can tell already try to ensure costs are kept fair and reasonable (compared to the last place who always tried to pull my trousers down; let alone conveniently forget to hand me back a large sum of deposit back). overall they have been an absolute delight to work with, and i have faith this will continue for years to come. kind regards, Jake
