5* Review for Martin & CO We have been delighted with the performance of the Plymouth office of Martin & Co, and particularly with Jenny Mathews and her team. We initially interviewed 4 Estate Agents towards the latter part of 2024, before selecting Martin & Co. Jenny attended that first meeting and gave a very informative and confident presentation, emphasising the attributes of our house, comparables in the market, possible purchasers already registered with them, and yet making us feel that our sale was very important and would receive close attention and feedback. Her valuation was well pitched and proved accurate. It is easy to ‘talk the talk’, but she also certainly ‘walked the walk’ at every stage. The feedback from multiple viewings conducted by Janine or Jenny herself, was always positive and they clearly conveyed their enthusiasm for our home. She gave good advice when in receipt of multiple offers, and saw the process safely through the Solicitors to completion. The Plymouth office had a good system of reporting progress of viewings and subsequent discussions, both via secure access to a dedicated part of their website and through creating a WhatsApp group between Jenny and ourselves. The ‘back-office’ team knew what was happening and ensured the process continued forwards. I would certainly have no hesitation in using Jenny and the wider Plymouth team of Martin & Co in any future property transaction. Thank you for making the process transparent and successful.

Great people, great institution.

Unlike my previous Estate Agents, Jenny and the team at Martin & Co actually put in some effort to sell our property, rather than just 'bung' it on a website and cross their fingers. We had regular updates on enquiries made and feedback given, as well as advice on our selling strategy. Unfortunately we did have to lower our asking price further, but again, this was thoroughly explained to us and various options offered. After receiving an offer below our asking price Jenny dealt with the buyer and was able to secure a price acceptable to both parties and our property was sold. Thanks to all at Martin & Co
