Terrible. Discovered my rented Victorian flat had inoperable lead mains water stopcock, meaning I was unable to turn off the water in the event of a burst/leaking pipe and resulting damage to my furniture, etc.. No response despite three phone calls and twice filling in online form. Finally went to my landlord, who promptly left Belvoir for a far better agent. Not recommended.

Appalling customer service from Belvoir Perth. Spoke often with Caitlin and Aileen who promised to get things done but was left sorely disappointed. I am owed money from the company and after emails, letters and phone calls being ignored, I am out of pocket. Avoid at all costs. Would not let them look after the weeds in my garden.

AVOID! Don't let them trick you with what they tell you over the phone or emails. All nice, nice until it's time to fix something. Absolutely useless. Don't even deserve 1 star. If you want live hassle free and maintaining good living conditions then look elsewhere. They're renting run down flats and not even fixing "white goods". USELESS DOESN'T CUT IT!!!

Bad company. Been trying to contact them about money they owe me for my rent to which my tenancy ended last month. No reply, ignoring my emails and calls. Poor service.

The branch was then closed until Tuesday morning when you called and spoke with one of my colleagues before abruptly hanging up on them. I cannot uphold your complaint as I don't believe you gave us sufficient time to look in to the issue and respond adequately to your query. Your query was passed to our accounts team on Thursday afternoon, whom I believe were looking in to your query. You received a response within 48 working hours. Rented a flat with them in 2021 and the flat was absolutely rotten with mold. Not only nothing was done about it after many complaints to Belvoir, but it’s manager Aimy Lewis treated me like a subhuman and pretty much told me to F off when I mentioned the health problems that caused my asthma. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

My partner and I were very interested in a property that went up on Zoopla on Monday morning. After countless phone calls to Belvoir Perth with no answer, we decided to visit the branch in person. There was an open sign on the door, and was said to be open online. However, the door was locked and no one was in. We waited for hours, literally a whole day calling, emailing, checking the office until they closed, and got absolutely nothing. We tried again the next morning, and after finally getting through to someone on the phone by some miracle, were told that they were no longer taking viewings. I have no idea how on earth they took any viewings if they weren’t answering any phone calls, but had anyone bothered to actually answer us, we could have had a chance at applying to the property we really wanted. Shockingly bad service, do not even bother trying with the lettings team here. Disappointed at best.

The most useless team of letting agents I’ve had to deal with and that’s saying something. Absolutely no communication from them when I was a tenant, they messed up my notice period and tried to ask for more money, now I can’t get a hold of them to get my deposit back because nobody answers emails and nobody answers the phone. Avoid these people at all costs.

Really hard to get anyone on the phone. When you do get someone on the phone they are helpfull. There have been numerous emails that I have sent that haven't been responded to. The one I'm most annoyed about is one I sent enquiring when I'd find out if I'd been accepted for the cottage I was hoping to rent. I had simaler issues with the inverness office when I stayed there.

"This is a review about a..."

This is a review about a franchise of Belvoir and not about the company itself though i'm sure that sadly having a dishonest franchise on its books reflects badly on the company itself. I was the victim of an attack by a male resident in the early ours of January 10th 2013 after i asked them to turn their music down. Belvoir were fully aware of this attack and so was the landlord. Despite Belvoir assuring me that my deposti would be put into a deposit scheme, it was not so when i left the property soon after the attack for my own safety, my deposit was no where to be seen. I telephoned the franchise on the 7th February 2013 and was told it was my responsibility to have secured my deposit (this is wrong information) and when i asked why they didn't tell me this at the contract signing, they had no answer. Please do not rent with this franchise and do not trust them to be honest, friendly or caring. They are by far the worse letting agency i have ever dealt with. I'm not typing up this review to bring scandal to their office but to protect other prospective tenants from such wrongdoing. Please be careful.
