Our new student house with Nicholas Humphreys had a fair amount of dust, cobwebs, and a previous tentants sock. After consulting this with the agency, they told us the house was 'completely habitable'. This seemed as though they were disregarding the situation. Responses from them have been taking longer than 10 days, with follow up emails needed to get a response. EDIT: After 27 days from the initial email, our issue was resolved swiftly by another team member, who sent a clear and satisfactory update on the changes made. NEW EDIT: took 3 months to get a working oven, kitchen was left in a mess after repair, our house flooded during heavy rainstorms and our concerns about this were dismissed, the house clearly had not undergone checks by the agency. Paper was found blocking cracks under the windowsill, and tape was found over the cracks on the windowsill. This meant winters were extremely cold causing the heating to be almost ineffective.
