Belvoir have been looking after my property in Newark for approximately 5 years, and have had good service throughout. Payments have been received on time every month. I've been very pleased with their service.

Angela and team have looked after my property since they took over the franchise, and I am very happy with the way they are working - more so than with other agents in another part of the county. Note that four stars is the best I would ever give.

Belvoir have always found tenants quickly when using the tenant-find only service and their prices are very competitive. There have been sporadic issues with the timeliness of responses to emails and with passing messages from tenants to me as the landlord but these have generally been resolved swiftly.

On vocating the property the inventory they sent us back was shocking saying damages wasnt there before moved in but they was already there on moving in as they was noted to them and took dated photos. Some of the staff was a bit rude didnt want to help because circumstances our we was in finding another property as we wanted to move as we though this would be easy to move with this agency again. Some of staff was helpful when we got our first property couldn't fault them.

Sadly for they never answer any emails and this is twice now it’s happen to me so won’t bother with them in the future.

You had made enquires on two properties we advertised, both these clearly stated no pets, but on your comments to view these properties you said you had an elderly cat so we would not offer a viewing on theses.. Also the last property you enquired about had already been let before we received your enquiry.

Disappointing experience. Applied for a property for rent, offered more money even. Chased them a few times for a reponse, was told we would know very soon as they were taking the offers to the landlord on that day. Never heard back and I was not about to keep chasing them, so I assumed it had been unsuccessful and they never bothered to tell us. I moved on from this and continued looking elsewhere. However, imagine my surprise when 3 weelks later the same property pops right back up on my Rightmove feed, with price reduced! More is the surprise because we even offered a bit more for the rent that it was advertised. This experience goes to show that they could care less about the customer, giving me a very poor impression of the agent. Anyone who has been in the rental market for a while will have encountered these type of letting agents, and the best you can do is avoid them.

Terrible Agency. I definitely would not recommend. Took a holding fee that wasn’t returned, maintenance issues were ignored for over 3 months every time and then they scammed me out of my deposit when leaving. Wouldn’t even rate them 1 star if I could write a review without any. Poor service -updated* the fact the agency responded with lies says it all.

Hi Toni, Your holding fee was taken off your first months rent and the full deposit was returned. Maintenance issues were addressed as soon as we received them. If you would like to come into the office and talk to us about this, you're more than welcome.
