This has been a frustrating journey made so much easier by the persistence and professionalism of the New Malden staff. They have had to deal with recalcitrant buyers who pull out on exchange day, to hesitant solicitors who appear to want all "i"'s with perfectly round dots and "t"'s crossed at exactly 90 degrees. If I had to rate them out of 10 - it would be 11 (not a typo)

We dealt with a few other companies when looking for a house to purchase and Curchods was by far the kindest and most helpful. This was our first time buying a house in the UK and Rupert was very patient in explaining how things worked. He was extremely responsive during the entire transaction, always available to address any issues or questions, no matter how small. He was instrumental in getting us to exchange of contracts, which required a lot of following up with the solicitors and trying to facilitate getting information required.
