Bentons have been managing agents on property that was let for a young girl in my family who's mother passed away and she inherited. Had an issue with a pipeline in the living room ceiling. They provided my quotes for services to attend and fix with their authorised workmen which I paid and they sorted. Fast forward in time and I attend the property to review as she needs /is looking to sell. There is a hole in the living room ceiling left by the workmen bentons arranged previosuly. Not a dmall ine either. The tenant complained they had informed Bentons/Alfie and requested it to be fixed multiple times to no avail. Really, really disappointing from Alfie as property manager. I have spoken to him numerous times to get this sorted as we are looking to sell the property and having viewings with a great big hole in the ceiling is not acceptable. He then had the audacity to say Bentons will get me some quotes to fix it! No sir, you arranged the work the first time and left the hole. Been following up on this for weeks now and still no notification of completion. Been given every excuse under the sun from Alfie. I put a block on viewings until they sort it and they've carried on arranging them, thinking I wouldn't see the auto generated sms confirmations. Very, very close to taking the house off them entirely and getting someone else to sell it. Tried adding the MD on LinkedIn before it got to a review, she ignored me entirely. So here is your review.
