I recently purchased a property with Ewe Move and it was fantastic. From the very beginning Jack worked really hard to secure my offer was accepted and... it was. I was kept informed every step of the way. Because I travel for work a lot I needed to be flexible with when I could complete different milestones and ewe move made this really simple and hassle free! Picking up the keys in February at the property with Sophie made it all seem real. Jack and Sophie at EweMove Spalding made the whole experience of buying my first home the excitement it should be!

Friendly team. We found our lovely home after some ups and downs with looking on the housing market .It was really worth the wait as we got exactly the house we wanted.If we was looking to sell I would use Ewemove ..but I doubt we will be selling for a long time now

Great initial service and could not fault Jack excellent service. Points to beware: there were a number of offers on when we signed up with them and we received emails confirming our eligibility however because we had negotiated 1% fee with them we were told much further down the line after our sale that these offers were null and void. At no point were we told this and at no point in their small print did it say thus. Also be very clear what is and what is not included in your sale we were caught out as our buyers said they were told our cooker was included and at no point was this discussed or agreed.

Sorry to hear that you feel that way Amanda, we feel that you have had a very successful sale having sold after just a month on the market and for 99% of the asking price which is 10 weeks quicker and almost 4% more than the local agent average! Plus exchanging after 15 weeks when the UK average is a long 24 weeks. We agreed to a reduced fee (£625 worth) plus still providing 3 of the 6 gifts on our anniversary leaflet (worth £900) AND said you could have a fourth, being the £400 off our recommended solicitor, but you chose not to use them. The cooker was not listed in your initial paperwork as an item that you were taking with you of which was completed and signed by yourselves nor was it raised as an exclusion when negotiating the sale so we weren't to know this and therefore neither was your buyer. We hope that we can resolve this as we strive to ensure that every EweMover has the absolutely BEST service and all of our customers move with nothing but appreciation and praise for the service they have had. EweMove Spalding- in addition to this response, have contacted the reviewer directly.

I am writing this review to share my personal experience with EweMove (Stamford & Spalding), hoping it will protect others from going through what my family had to go through. In my opinion, the way this branch handled my brother’s tenancy and funds was deeply unprofessional, misleading, and extremely disappointing. 1. Confusing and Contradictory Communication Throughout the tenancy, we were given multiple written assurances from EweMove staff—especially from one of their representatives—that the remaining Rent Now Buy Later (RNBL) balance would be refunded once the keys were returned. We relied on these written promises, only for the company to completely change their position after receiving the keys. For me personally, this showed huge inconsistency and made the process extremely stressful. 2. Lack of Transparency When we requested clarification, evidence, or justification for withholding my brother’s funds, we were left facing vague explanations, shifting stories, and no clear proof. In my view, a professional letting agent should be able to provide: invoices check-in / check-out reports photographs receipts itemised deductions NONE of these were provided to us. It felt like everything was being said “verbally” with no documentation to back it up. 3. Refusal to Provide Landlord Details In our experience, EweMove refused to give us the landlord’s details even after repeated requests. Any good agent should act transparently and fairly between landlord and tenant. Instead, we felt we were blocked, ignored, and pushed around. Because of this, we were left unable to communicate or resolve anything with the landlord directly. 4. Sudden Change of Position After Keys Were Returned Before the keys were handed back, we were told that the property was in acceptable condition and that the RNBL refund would be arranged. After the keys were returned, the story suddenly changed. From our perspective, this behaviour felt unfair, misleading, and extremely distressing. 5. My Personal Feeling: Exploitation of a Vulnerable Tenant My brother was in a vulnerable position at the time, and in my honest opinion, EweMove took advantage of the situation rather than acting with fairness and compassion. As a family, we felt let down, mistreated, and in my view, the whole situation has shown extremely poor conduct. 6. Left With No Option Except Legal Action We tried everything to resolve this amicably, but in the end, we were left with no choice except to take the matter to the County Court. This is not how a professional estate agent should operate. My Final Thoughts Based on my experience, I would never recommend EweMove (Stamford & Spalding) to anyone looking to rent or buy a property. I strongly advise others to: be cautious insist on everything in writing double-check all financial arrangements carefully protect themselves because in my opinion, EweMove’s conduct was unreliable, contradictory, and lacked transparency. I hope this review helps others avoid the stress and financial uncertainty that we experienced.

I have called Lisa so many times to try to set up viewing at a property we absolutely love, but have been unable yo do so. She never answers her phone always goes through to head office. Even then she will responds many hours later or next day. Then has no time available. When we finally got through and set up a viewing she failed to confirm it by text or email. As we were coming from Buckinghamshire we couldn't risk travelling all that way on a whim. Tried 6 six times today alone she never answered her phone. We will travel to Whaplode in the next day or so and tell the vendors of our difficulties in viewing their house, perhaps they can get out of paying the total fee. We would certainly help if they requested evidence.
