Friendly and attentive but please beware landlords as they issue additional fees separate to the management which can add up.
**LANDLORDS BEWARE** I've been a loyal customer of the Mansfield branch for 8 years, and this company over the last couple of years provides poor service for landlords. They failed to collect rent properly and didn't notice late or incorrect payments. They refuse to talk to tenants when maintenance issues arise. Communication is slow and argumentative, with a 4-day wait for replies to simple queries. I gave notice, and their exit fee has been mishandled. Firstly, they added the charge to my account weeks before the actual exit date, attempting to take it from the rent payment before I’ve even left. Their exit fee started at £450, then £350, then they raised it to £600. I was hoping to meet them halfway and offered to split the bill, but they refuse to settle, and I have no other avenue but to go to the Ombudsman to get a resolution. If they provided a good service, I wouldn’t have to leave in the first place and now they want me to pay the full £600 to go despite admitting failures in the service. An agent purely driven by revenue collection. Avoid at all costs unless you want hours of wasted time dealing with their conduct.
NIGHTMARE! KEEP CLEAR AT ALL COSTS. You would think getting a rental property would not be a Krypton Factor. Unfortunately Belvoir are the ultimate assault course. Viewed property, landlord delighted with us and then nothing for a week. We thought they had withdrawn as went on with other letting agent. We then made application on property with that agent. Then suddenly they were interested in contacting to stop us making application with that agent. We would have to proceed with them. They operated at a snails pace and forever having to get them to send stuff out. They had no courtesy to update and inform us and then when we passed hard referencing process no information or congratulations. We had no tenancy contract to sign ,with nearly less than two days to moving in date. I then rang up about contract to be told it would be in the afternoon some time and that they were under no obligation to provide contract at the moment. They also managed to get goods that landlord was leaving priced at 700 pounds. Another agent had advised that we could have goods for free as inconvenience moving them. So at every step they were rude, uncaring and obstructive. MANSFIELD DANGER DO NOT APPROACH. Update - Only three times in hundreds of reviews has a reviewed business replied. I have almost 900, 000 views This business has replied and they are saying that my detailed outline of events is incorrect. Yes they are right , I was too lenient. You could not organise a p… up in a brewery. You have the interpersonal skills more fitting for embalming.
Started very promising, unfortunately Philippa was in a regional meeting so could not do a critical negotiation. Low staffing levels has also created a poor business response.
I called and emailed to make an appointment for house viewing, couldn't book an appointment as apparently house was under other agency. Received a call a week later and finally appointment was booked. Person from agency was half an hour late for viewing. After completion, key collection was agreed, appointment booked, nobody was there at booked time 1,5h waiting for someone to open the branch... This agency isn't helpful...
Under par and unprofessional in the way they treat potential tenants. Enough said!!
