In my dealings with Belvoir the agent was very professional. The agent (AI) answered my emails and calls and arranged a viewing promptly when other estate agents I had contacted would not even acknowledge my correspondence, never mind arrange a viewing.PositiveResponsiveness
Classic example of viewing a property currently on the market where there was clearly damp in the main bedroom. After telling the estate agent my concerns as my partner has severe asthma, we were told that "maybe this wasn't the property for us" if my partner has asthma! Also blaming the Tenant for not putting on heating in a cost of living crisis, disgusting!
Well they know how to be rude and unhelpful. Stigmatizing someone who is out of work. Maybe put on the add accepting employed people only!!!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
Rang about an equiry and the man at the Manchester Wilbraham branch took my details and told me he'd ring me back ASAP after he'd made some enquiries for me im still waiting.
Not great. Went to a viewing and the agent was late and didn't know anything about the property. After expressing an interest in the property we were then ignored.
If I could rate them with zero stars i would. Absolutely nothing short of useless, thoroughly unprofessional. As a landlord I can only begin to imagine how the tenants must feel living in properties managed by them as term I use extremely loosely indeed. Quick to be in touch when seeking business however disappear when faced with evidence of mis management. Stay clear of using their services in any capacity whatsoever. Legal action is the only option you will have to seek recompensence. You have been warned!!! 10 June 2020 - Update...here I am again and as predicted Belvoir have gone AWOL and are refusing to answer any emails once the tenant decided to packed up leave prior to the end of the contract. Unable to get hold of the keys to my own property or get the deposit back which you would hope had been retained. They stated in writing that the property was in good order when they carried out an inspection after they left which I took on face value. Having had to force entry into my own flat using a locksmith I found the flat in total dis-repair. This is what you get for your money when paying for full letting management by Belvoir. Makes you wonder if any of the reports, request for repairs etc etc were genuine. Ombudsman will be advised and legal action taken. Go elsewhere if you're a landlord and save yourself the aggravation and money, tenants beware....if this is how you get treated when paying for a service imagine what level of service you will receive... It goes without saying I have now reverted to a reputable and trustworthy letting agency.
If I could rate it 0 I would. Service/help/contact/reliability absolutely diabolical. Avoid if you can
Booked an appointment to view the property and got a confirmation from them before viewing. But nobody turned up! Called their office quite a few times but nobody answered. After we left there 20 mins later, a guy called back and asked if I want to view the property. I said to him the appointment was booked at 4:45pm and this guy went “obviously, it is now 5:05” he didn’t feel shame for being late at all and did not feel that he needed to apologize at all! Avoid this agent at all cost!
The fact clearly have their staff writing fake reviews to make the bad ones go towards the bottom says at all. Don't touch with a barge pole. Stole nearly £1000 from us as a deposit and denied getting the email for a one month notice (when they already had the keys) then refused to answer the phone after. Ignore emails and calls regarding maintenance issues, horrible service from the get go, may as well do their job for them as you have to chase them up so much. So many other estate agents to choose from, you'll thank me later. 1 star is being far too kind.
