I’m looking for a place to rent for myself and for the 4th time I contacted them about a property they told me it was available I asked to view it and they never got back at me, this had happened first time in February and now again. Plus a girl on the phone yesterday after the standard (income/personal) information she asked me if I have some savings which I personally don’t think it’s your business to know especially after I told you I even have a guarantor. But they disappeared again 👻
Bad at solving tenants' problems after they move in, my friend has lived in a house for three months and since he moved every week he has a different problem and they don't fix it. I don't recommend it to anyone.
This is the first time we have use Streets Ahead to move. The property is great but prior and during the move, Streets Ahead South Norwood Branch have backtracked on several things, and have essentially called us liars. We approached them with concerns personally and privately, when asked to review their services on Facebook, and received the following: Maxime (Lettings Manager) denied all conversation about an issue, Aidan (Lettings Negotiator) implied that we were lying on that topic. Furthermore a non-working key that was assured to be replaced, has now been advised that the landlord will have to sort it. To boot, we received claims that Streets Ahead was constantly in touch throughout the process. This was not the case (e.g. we had to sort the problems that their reference company had), I had to chase them, rather than them calling us, and on one occasion we found ourselves left in London on the key pick up date without being told it has been postponed. Thankfully we had not turned up with a van full of belongings on that date, it being a work day. Overall, Streets Ahead is willing to take your money and move you very quickly, but exhibits poor communication and an unwillingness to address or correct their mistakes, being very quick to shift blame onto you. I don't appreciate being called a liar when the issue had been raised prior to even placing a deposit, in person and in writing.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
Most of the team are terrible, rude and unprofessional. They let us a house which the day before moving in they changed the contract to 6 months instead of a year and it turned out the property was for sale- we had no option but to sign at this point or be homeless with two children. Que endless viewings where sometimes they would just walk in 20 minutes before the arranged time without even knocking. Many of the people viewing were clearly not interested and the unenthusiastic nature of some of the staff showing people around was shocking, they had 2 offers that fell through due to a leaking roof and a damp wall. The house was then sold just before we moved out. The landlords were happy with the condition we left the property and returned our deposit in full.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
Terrible experience. I am still waiting for my deposit 2 months after I left. I have phoned twice a week and sent numerous emails and I am just getting silence. I get promised someone will return my call and no one ever has. Just ridiculous. Is this even legal?
Horrible Customer Service Pretty sure their deleting their bad reviews would not recommend this Estate Agent title says it all. Check their trust pilot reviews for the honest opinions.
useless been waiting months for my toilet to be fixed come home today to my boiler not working which I've never had a gas safety certificate for absolutely rubbish communication with anyone from streetsahead a complete joke

Avoid them - if a property is listed with two agents use any other agent. Simple things like telling you which power meter is yours is beyond them. Simple customer services and urgency are ignored. They will tell you they will do something and then tell you they didn’t say that - even when in writing. #AVOID
