Unlike other letting agents, GLP cares. I contacted a few other letting agents before who were all very cold and unhelpful. As I was abroad, calling letting agents during their “prime letting time”, end September, was very annoying. I had to call multiple times during the day to get the right person on the line as the one designated person was always out of office for viewings, they had promised me to call me back but never did, or told me the property has already been let and they had send me other alternatives who were either 1) in worse of a condition or 2) much more expensive. This was definitely not the case with GLP. My friend in the UK helped me call the office, got referred to Shanaz who whatsapped me right away with all that I needed, despite being on a viewing. I asked her a lot of questions about the property and within a day, I placed an offer electronically. She worked over hours, to get my offer to the landlord as soon as possible, as I was quite anxious about it being let by someone else. The next day the landlord accepted the offer. Shanaz helped me a lot even after the offer being made. She helped me getting the required documents together (with was quite a struggle for me as first time renter) as well as accommodating me with other special needs. I could always contact her and she always replied quick. She’s the most lovely and helpful agent I know, and would definitely recommend her to all my friends.
