I had previously left a really positive review for the Bounds Green branch of Ellis & Co, however I am revising this due to the dishonesty which has now come to light. When viewing the property, I asked about the state of the boiler and was led to believe there were no issues. Then when I picked up the keys I was given a random part and told there were issues. Within hours of moving in the boiler went, I had to call an emergency engineer and it has gone many times since that visit. It is not fit for purpose. For the record, there are a number of other snags, which I am perfectly happy to take responsibility for but I specifically asked about the boiler!! I would suggest clients exercise extreme caution and make sure all items which are of particular importance are responded to in writing.

The worse people ever. Not sure if everyone working there are same but terrible experience I’ve ever had to just enquire for a property. ““called number, a man picked up, I asked about the property’s availability, the man confirmed it was available with unprofessional tone of voice. That’s ok. I then asked about viewing as I was interested, I got asked about how many people and what’s earnings like, I confirmed that, which my earning is 4 times more than the property’s price. I then got thrown a question of “when was last time I paid my tax”??? That was very unprofessional and silly question as I tried to ask the man on the phone was that necessary question as I was only try to enquire?, what I got was rude and arrogant Ellis estate worker not wanting to let properties for some reasons. Should be investigated. The house I was trying to enquire has been sitting in advert for 2months as I ve found out. Am sure this worker has had issues with others trying to enquire as well. He does not want to let and should again be investigated.””
