Went through Silver Oak to purchase a property and got led on and lied to to be quite honest. multiple parties interested in the property, estate agent said that he didn't want to start any bidding wars and asked for one final offer from the parties. Our offer got accepted by the owner initially and things were looking good. To then receive a message a few days later saying that someone else had offered more. The agent created a bidding war which led to extreme stress and upset (we were "gazumped").
would not recommend this agent due to this deception.

Hi,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. We understand that purchasing a property can be a stressful process, and we’re sorry to hear that you were disappointed with how this sale progressed.
As estate agents, we are legally and ethically obligated to present all offers to the seller, who ultimately makes the decision on which offer to accept. In this instance, the seller initially accepted your offer but later chose to proceed with a higher offer from another party. While we appreciate how frustrating this must have been, this is a common occurrence in property transactions and not something we have control over.
We always strive to ensure a fair and transparent process for all buyers and sellers, and we regret that your experience did not meet your expectations. If you’d like to discuss this further, please feel free to reach out to us directly.
Best regards,
Greg
