o whom it may concern, I am not used to giving this kind of review or writing at all because I believe that we can all make mistakes. But I think there are mistakes that cannot be made 3 times. A month and a few days ago exactly I started to fill out the documentation to acquire a house with Chancellors. They called me very early every day and they were always very aware of what I needed. It took me a week to fill out the form and send all the documentation. The landlord approved us and only our references were missing. They sent us the contract for 25th June and we are supposed to have the house that day. They called me and told me that at 11:30 am on the 25th we would meet at the house to hand over the keys. On Tuesday 23rd June they emailed me to tell me that unfortunately they have to delay the day of moving because we did not have the complete references. We accept that and delay the day to 1st July. On July 1st we were told that it was impossible to move in because the Landlord had withdrawn the application due to our references and 3 days later an email arrived saying that our references are correct. On July 2nd the girl from the agency called me and told me that she has another house that we do not need anything else. That we do not have to worry at all and that she was going to take care of everything and we could move on 9th July. As we were supposed to move on 25th June. We paid rent and deposit on 22nd June and from that day everything was delayed. We thought because they were just putting everything in order but each time we were delaying and delaying more and more. We are on July 7 and the only thing I have done is try to call them and speak to the person in charge but they tell me that at the moment they cannot speak with me. Another very relevant point is that Lucinda Sturla the girl from the agency no longer works there since July 4 and now the manager was Olivia. I am trying to communicate with Olivia from that same day, July 4 and it is IMPOSSIBLE. I spoke to the manager, John and he says he can't do anything because he doesn't have the letting department. What type of company does this to its clients who HAVE ALREADY PAID AN INCOME AND A DEPOSIT OF MORE THAN 2,600.00 POUNDS? The MASSIVE PROBLEM is that at the moment I am on the street because I am supposed to sign a contract for June 25 and then for July 1 and THERE IS NO ANSWER. I left my house on the 25th because the contract ended. This agency takes money from you and does not care about you. This is unheard of and disrespectful to us. Now I am trying to get my money back for two days and I don't get a response. Finally I decided to take legal action and go to lawyers because it seems disrespectful to me.
Horrendous experience in Wycombe. Especially during Covid but even before. The team are really unhelpful, do not listen, and even if you are entitled to help legally they delay it because they work for the landlord who tends to be a big company or corporation with no empathy. Honestly just avoid this company save yourself the grief.
Unprofessional outfit that lies to its customers.Tried selling my property with these guys who faked market interest and also fabricated viewings. When I requested to be present at one such viewing - strangely the interested party didn't show up. This was following a gut feeling by me that something wasn't right. After 6 months of complete juvenile flannel - I moved to Carsons, also in the village, and they sold within a month. How they treat staff and can fire their staff when they have been told medically and by government rules to self isolate due to illness. To then have a call From manager to fire them! Which this member of staff previously offered to work from home ! Absolutey disgusting and to kick somebody down when poorly as well! Shame on you!!
Chancellors asked several times to come and update the valuation on our property. We arranged for 1400hrs today. At 1410 nobody had arrived and so I called the office ….. 1st lie - I was told that I had cancelled the appointment by the lad who answered the phone, no I hadn't, why would I be ringing to find out where Chris was? 2nd lie - Oh we tried to ring you several times this morning to check you would be in......that's strange as I was in all morning and have no missed calls!! Its better to tell the truth than to try and come up with pathetic excuses which can be checked. I have told them I have no faith in them and to take me off their books. Very disappointing service after my wife and I spent hours tidying the inside and outside of the house.
Terrible service Would never recommend or use in the future .
The worst service I've ever come across. Total lack of respect for me, my property and the tenants.

absolutely appalling service. i cancelled the contract with them within the 14 days period due to a change in circumstances. they never even visited the property to take photos and it was never placed on rightmove. what followed was 4 months of debt letters, demanding paying costs. now been sent a county court letter. completely ignored when i challenged the costs, taken off in under 7 days. disgusting level of service. NEVER use this agent.
Non stop calls and we have not even contacted them. Would NEVER use or recommend. Stop. Calling or we will take action!
