Thank you to Salim and Trupti for taking care of our home that we currently let through Charter Whyman. We know our property is in good hands.

My relationship with Charter Whyman extends back to 2016 on the rental side. As ever, businesses are only as good as the individuals and my review would have been 5 stars were i only referring to the efforts of of Kanyin or Trupti. I am not sure whether i can recommend this business at the moment as Kanyin left some while back and I believe Trupti is on maternity leave. But i am sure it will bounce back as I believe that the owners are serious and committed players in this market. Postscript: i sold a house with them last year (2022), finally got paid in December. They don’t appear to set themselves targets for progressing a sale and the bullsh&t detector got red hot at the start of proceedings and then chilled considerably after a couple of weeks 🙄

20 minute rushed viewing because someone was booked in right after us, no opportunity for a second viewing. No respect for the buyers money, I'm buying a house, not a new shirt from John Lewis, how do you expect someone to make a decision on the biggest investment of their lives in 20 minutes, or lose two months of their life to solicitor and conveyancer waiting times for it to potentially fall through to something you could've spotted during a longer viewing? Service pales in comparison to the agents from First Step and Satchells who were very knowledgeable of the properties they were showing

However much I would like to commend Charter Whyman on their sleek video and marketing expertise plus keeping me informed of any interest in the property, which is what they are paid to do? Unfortunately, the property must have been over valued to warrant 2 very substantial price drops over an 8 week period. When a buyer was eventually found they appeared to bend over backwards to accommodate his sometimes outrageous demands. Add to the mix Covid, the stamp duty fiasco and waiting for Probate following my husband's death, this 6 month venture into the property market has been the second most stressful and depressing period of my life.

Wouldn’t trust them at all. They use shoddy contractors who use inferior quality products and over charge you. If you’re thinking of using these guys to rent your house out, then think again.
