I've just sold my house through Martin & Co and I can truly say it's a fantastic service. I had two main points of contact throughout my sale, Kate and Marcus. Both were always happy to help and always went the extra mile for me with any queries that I raised and kept in contact with me constantly all the way through to competition. I already had a previous experience with a letting agency when I was in Brighton and I thought I could have some problems or surprises renting a flat again. But having a meeting with Mr Gumbs has been one of the luckiest moment of this renting deal. Due to my job, I used to be talked about customer service and Mr Gumbs, thanks to his smile, his professionalism and his precious way to give best advices about my rent, has surely reached that goal. We bought a property and are currently letting it out through Martin and Co. Every dealing we have had with Martin and Co has been straightforward, professional and stress-free. Lauren is very knowledgeable, friendly, reassuring and gets things done well - the property is definitely in good hands. She is able to balance the landlord's and tenant's interests in a remarkable and fair manner and is a great asset to the Martin and Co team.

I am a distant landlord and relied on Martin & co's letting agent to manage my property on a daily basis. Lauren have been fantastic and I would rate her to manage your property personally. Separately, it was now appropriate to sell my this rental property (due to changing tax rules on interest charges) whilst being rented and Martin & co's selling department dealt with this most effectively. John and his manager advised me to keep renting whilst being on the sales market. Consequently, I got an extra 6 months rent upon this advice during the selling and conveyancing period as I originally thought it was necessary to market and sell it empty. Their computer log kept me informed of viewing activities by email- there were surprisingly many. With feedback from viewers, the marketing strategy was tuned and consequently I got a result. The key point from these viewers' feedback was the criticism of the bedroom having a doorway as well as a opening to the living room. Responding to this, and for a day's work with a builder friend, we partitioned off this oddity and painted to blend in. The property sold within days. During conveying, John have always been on hand to respond to all my questions. He established the buyer's dates of exchange and completion time frame and co-ordinated the proceedings. He was able to serve sufficient notice for the vacating by the then tenant, check them out, and arranged a cleaning schedule for my visit to clear out the furniture and a cleaner prior to handover. The sales went through like clockwork. A buyer can mess around (like the first buyer), but credit must be given for John to keep both sides on track to a successful sale. I thank him for a successful sale.

Brilliant fast service

When we decided to search for a new flat we went through Martin and co, Marcus was brilliant, we had a few issues with the property but he sorted them with no problem. Me and my girlfriend were looking for a place to live for quite a while, then we found out about Martin and Co. As soon as we viewed our apartment the agent that showed around told us to phone in the office, and Marcus picked up the phone, from the very start Marcus gave us all the right information, answered all of our questions when we weren't sure about things and made us feel comfortable in doing so.
