We are sorry to hear that you have found the situation distressing and appreciate that ongoing noise can be frustrating for neighbouring residents. We would like to clarify that we have taken all reasonable and available action in response to the concerns raised with us. This has included visits to the property and correspondence with the tenants regarding the issues reported. Following our intervention, we were advised that the tenants had taken steps to reduce the noise that was allegedly causing disruption. As a letting agent, there are limits to the action we can take in relation to alleged noise nuisance, particularly where incidents occur outside our direct observation or control. We therefore advised that any further disturbances should be reported directly to Leeds City Council, who are the appropriate authority to investigate ongoing statutory noise nuisance. We take reports of nuisance seriously and will always respond appropriately to concerns brought to our attention.
