I have owned flats in Leeds since 2003 and at first I used 3 or 4 agents some were better than others but none were totaly satisfactory. I discovered Martin & Co through their York Office, the owner also owned the Leeds branch which is now owned by Elizabeth. I can say without exception all her staff are friendly, polite, efficient and professional. On the rental side I have dealt mainly with Michael who is excellent and now Adam who is also excellent. They let my flats quickly and at a good rent. I cannot praise Khaqan enough who deals with the check in and maintenance issues. Nothing is too much trouble. Although I manage the flats myself, when I am away on holiday, if anything needs attention he steps in and deals with it. Now Emma seems to be doing a similar role to Khaqan and she is also excellent. They keep me informed and provide estimates for any maintenance work so there are no shock invoices. The feed back I get from my tenants is they are very pleased with their service. Although we are already to complain, I think that if you receive service which is exceptional you should also contact the company and let them know. I have spoken to Elizabeth a couple of times to let her know what excellent service her staff provide. I have no hesitation in recommending Martin & Co to prosptive landlords and tenats.

The Maintenance Staff/Engineers for Martin & Co - Leeds City Centre are efficient, punctual and well mannered. The problems I have had have been resolved once they are alerted.

I have lived in an apartment managed by Martin & Co Leeds City for a year and a half, between 2013 and 2015. Martin & Co Leeds City and its staff as a whole have been great throughout the whole period – from the first flat viewings, through the various admininistrative bits and repairs during the tenancy, to the check out from the flat. There have been a number of (reasonable) issues during the tenancy, but the staff of Martin and Co have been prompt and efficient in dealing with these. If (sometimes) solving such issues has required more than a call and/or a visit to the agency, I suspect this is due to the high volume of properties they manage. I left the flat early with respect to the end of my tenancy, and I was worried I would remain stuck with paying the rent until the end of the contract (which was quite a few months away). Michael Drake and other staff members reassured me that the flat would go away very quickly and that I did not need to worry. In the end everything went very smoothly. If you are looking for a flat/property in Leeds city centre, and if you want to be assisted by competent and efficient people, this is the agency to go to.
