Worst company I have ever dealt with\. I am now taking legal action following my experience\. The roof/ceiling collapsed on me after I had reported concerns about it on multiple occasions\. I was then told that the issue had not been identified during their routine checks\. I had to leave the property as an emergency and was unable to safely remain there\. Despite the seriousness of what happened, the flat was left in that condition for around three weeks\. To make matters worse, they have since attempted to withhold my damage deposit\. The entire experience has been completely unacceptable. Based on my personal experience, I would strongly advise others to stay well away.

Reply from Sarah Mains Residential - Newcastle: We are sorry that you remain dissatisfied, but we do not agree with several aspects of your review.
The roof did not collapse; an area of ceiling plaster became detached. Independent professional reports concluded that this could not reasonably have been foreseen during our routine inspections. Once notified, we responded promptly and arranged emergency attendance within 18 hours.
The proposed deposit deductions are unrelated to the ceiling and concern the documented condition of the property at the end of the tenancy, it would not be appropriate to make further comment about this on a public platform. You may dispute these deductions independently through the Tenancy Deposit Scheme.
We have completed our formal complaints procedure and have been clear that we would be happy to correspond directly with your legal representative.
