Brock Taylor were the agents selling the house that we just bought. Buying a house I had no choice over who to buy from - you just go with whatever agent is selling the house you like the look of online rather than 'choosing to buy a house from agent x or y'. The viewing was pretty standard - young bloke shows you around the house, I imagine that is virtually the same across all firms. There is only so much value in being able to point out nice windows and floors. Where the great value came from was the way Brock Taylor ran the whole process once we made an offer. They have a specialist team headed by a qualified surveyor whose sole job is to manage to the chain and this is so valuable. Our chain had 4 links to it and whereas the agent selling my house just sat back, Richard at Brock Taylor was engaged every few days, up and down the chain, smoothing over issues, managing expectations and trying to keep things on track. Therefore if I was selling, I would look for this factor - a company that will manage the process smoothly as this is the difficult part of the process when you want professionals handling things, not some random sales team who feel their job is done once they receive an offer, then sit back and wait for their commission. If I was selling in the future I would 100% use these guys.

This was my first major issue with the property in nearly 3 years of renting and it was all sorted out with very little hassle. The Property Manager (Kerry) was professional throughout and tried everything to resolve my issue as quickly as possible.
