Unfortunately, I also made the mistake of booking a room with them for a second year, thinking it might be a bit better. However, the houses they offer are very old, and as soon as you start living there, the outdated gas stoves and radiators begin to break down. It’s been an awful experience, and they don’t even offer the option of a rent reduction, which is absurd in this economy. The cleaning company they work with also doesn’t do its job, which feels very unfair since I’m pretty sure the overpriced rent covers the weekly ''cleaning services''. Just try to find a room outside of these housing companies- not only you pay less for the same living space but you usually can make amends with your landlord easier. And If you have no other option then to choose Studentstay, make sure It’s building D or E(the new ones).Otherwise Xior is also an option even if it's veryyyyyyy overpriced. I've not heard many complaints. Update: waited more than a month for my deposit and If i had never asked them about It, they would have kept it. The mistake was theirs and they didn’t even apologise for keeping my money without notifying me. Very unprofessional, very incompetent, and unfortunately, I don’t have the money for a lawyer, but I hope someone does and takes down their whole trash company.
