Very disappointed with the service from this agency. I booked a viewing for a rental property for Thursday, but later discovered the property had already been let over the weekend. No one from the agency contacted me to inform me. When I called them myself, they didn’t even seem to know the property had already been given to someone else. This shows a clear lack of communication within the team. It’s frustrating to have viewings booked for properties that are no longer available and then have to chase the agency for information. This wasted my time and could have easily been avoided with proper communication.
I can say with 100% certainty that this is the worst estate agent ive ever used. They dont get maintenance done and treat there tenants like animals. …
Very disappointing experience. I was a tenant in one of their managed properties and contacted White & Guard several times regarding serious issues with my landlord, who was sending me …
Tried renting a property with White And Guard and was treated terribly. Wouldn’t listen to either mine or my partners questions, nothing was explained to us in a kind manner and overall unhappy with this company, will not be using again. Refused to give our deposit back and staff were very rude
I am incredibly disappointed with this agency. I have been mostly ignored. There are houses on their website which I believe 99% of their letting are unavailable. I called a few times to inquire about some houses that were stated as “now let” on their website and still, as of today, it’s there available. I was told that they didn't know why that was back on their page and that it was not available. I also got an Instagram reply to my message stating they are working on their website to fix it. I was not offered anything via the phone. Not even something like “Can we help you with something else?” or “What properties are you interested in”? Every time I send a “request a viewing” email from their website, I never get an answer or call. I cannot be calling them at every house I see, maybe I am interested in 5 from their website. Plus I usually scroll when I have some time, but I cannot call for personal reasons or I’m at work. I was also asked to look on Rightmove but I just don’t follow Rightmove that often and I felt like that reply from both Instagram and via phone was quite rude. Some agencies have houses on their website which do not appear anywhere in Zoopla, Rightmove etc. When I called their office I was asked a ton of questions such as “Where did you see that?” . I have mentioned that on their website and the agent asked me “oh, at what price?” that sounded quite dodgy to me. Are you changing your prices depending on who is calling? And then proceeded to tell me that it’s not available and they don't know why is back on their website. All this experience left me with a taste that if you are not looking to buy a house, then “we don't care about you”.
I was really disappointed by my experience with White & Guard. I contacted their lettings team to organise a viewing for a property and when I explained that I have a service dog for a health condition, the response I received was 'no pets'. When I clarified that legally Service Dogs are not pets, I was told that this wouldn't be accepted by the landlord, with no reasonable reason given other than they didn't want a dog in the property. Disabled persons have equal access rights for a reason. Please consider this when we reach out to you, there are laws that protect us. Service Dogs are not pets.

My partner and I personally wouldn’t recommend using White and Guard. We recently listed my partner’s property with them. Having previously used them to buy and sell houses in the past as well as let houses (my partner even sold one of his …
For the next customers of this agency: be very careful. In case something happens and you need to leave your rent early, they DO EARLY LEAVING FEES WHICH ARE £600!!!! Imagine you need to move out for an emergency and beside new rent and deposit, consider putting 600 pounds in the pockets of this company that can't care less about tenants. Our contract was supposed to end in september 2025, we had to move out in december 2024 and we ended up losing about £700 with this agency. Thanks for nothing!! You caused us the bigges stress of our life!!
