Avoid at all cost - terrible experience renting through JNP

I would avoid buying a property from Breckon and Breckon. We had 3 viewings on a property with 3 different people and not one of them was able to answer any of our (usually basic) questions. This was not a brand new property on the market so there was plenty of time to find out as much as possible about it and provide clear, details information to buyers. Additionally it turned out it was being missold under the wrong category which some simple due diligence from their side could have avoided. When it became clear, no apology was made, nor offer to refund any losses. Additionally, the lack of forthcoming information caused us to doubt the entire process. Ultimately it wastes everyone's time. I would recommend a comprehensive, honest and straightforward approach to these major lifetime purchases for people. Ultimately it will work in the seller's favour as well. Finally, we were charged a lot of money for ID/ money-laundering checks and it was a round-about process with various apps. With other estate agents these checks are free and it's extremely straightforward.

Very bad attitude

They don't even bother putting the prices on the properties in the window. Waste of time!

It's really bad, I have been sending my document a week ago and no body come back to me , than when I asked them they said we received your paper work just today, I did give them my document by hand in the office This is a jock

Myself and my fiancee put in offer for our first home through Manning Stainton. After a week we had had no response either way and chased them up to see what the situation was only to be told they "hadn't received our offer because it had gone to their junk mail" despite it being a direct reply to an email they sent trying to cover themselves by saying it wasn't high enough anyway. A week later we thought we'd give them another chance and booked a viewing for a different property. After waiting for 10 mins outside with no signs of anyone being present, we called the office only to find out they'd booked it for different property entirely and we'd wasted our time again. Maybe we were just very unlucky but we made a conscious decision to avoid any other houses sold through them after the terrible start they had with us.

Very poor communication. We have had two viewings cancelled on arrival despite phoning up a couple of hours before hand to confim the appointment is still ahead. Wasted time away from work, travel to and from. Advised on both occasions they phoned us but did not recieve any phone calls or messages. Really displeased with the service.

We found Mannings really terrible, both when we were trying to sell through them and when viewing houses.They posted letter through our mailbox saying that x couple were looking to buy a property like ours, then when we signed up with them …
