I will not return or try rent through Verity Frearson again. The whole process of trying to rent through them was an absolute nightmare, with them dragging their heels and us jumping through hoops to fill in paper work and collect references, only to be turned down and have our holding deposit retained for a ridiculous reason. It’s a shame because the lady who showed us round was a delight and its upsetting the rest of the company let the side down.

We contacted Verity Frearson to arrange an appointment for a valuation as we have decide to sell our house. This will be our tenth sale in the last forty years so we have dealt with quite a few estate agents and most have given a good service but not Verity Frearson. Sam Newby finally arrived with us nearly an hour late and seemed ill prepared and thus unable to give an accurate valuation so left saying he would speak to a colleague and be back in touch with a valuation and details of the deal they could offer, two weeks later and we are still waiting. Not good enough especially when he stressed how quickly we needed to get on the market with the summer holiday lull approaching. We have now given instructions to another agent how have been helpful and professional right from the start

Took ages to answer the phone. Lady knew nothing about the property i was interested in, could not accommodate my free time to view it, said someone would ring me back, and never did. Makes you wonder if they want to sell properties! Seemed no interest at all

This is very bad of you. We sent all our documents and were accepted, but without informing us you sold the apartment to someone else. We think it is very disrespectful without informing us.

I had been warned about contacting Verity Frearson by a couple of friends of mine. But I thought I would call them anyway and see for my self. I called 3 times and received no answer , the forth time I was lucky. All I can say is, the lady that answered the phone was so rude she wouldn't let me get a word in about booking a valuation on my property. In the end I hung up. My advice would be, contact any other Estate Agent in the area but Verity Frearson. Which I did.

Arranged viewing for today at 9am before work at 9.30am. Was running late so paid for Uber to arrive at property on time. Nobody there and no one had called me to advise that viewing time had been changed to 9.30am. No call back and attempt to reschedule from the Assistant Lettings Manager who I arranged the visit with. Poor service!
