Curchods Guildford (Sales)

Curchods were a great help with providing advertising boards for our Christmas Fair and a donation which covered the cost of some 'goody bags' to put advertising flyers and gifts from other local businesses in. Thank you Curchods. It made a real difference to our fundraising efforts!

Just completed on our first home last Friday, and had an absolutely phenomenal experience with Bertie and Matthew from Curchods Guildford. Nothing was ever too much to ask, and both went above and beyond helping us with our concerns or queries. They were on the other end of the phone whenever we needed them, often after the end of the working day, and really helped propel our purchase forward... who knows where in the process we'd be without there help! I really couldn't recommend Bertie and Matthew enough - such personable people who really seem to care about your purchase as much as you do! We're now very happy homeowners! Thanks to you both!

My dealing with the sales team was nothing but exemplary and couldn't recommend them enough. I had the pleasure of working with Matthew, who was not only patient with myself (and my requests) but also quick to act when issues cropped up - house moves are never simple, and got them resolved in a timely manner. I’d also recommend their mortgage team as they were the only ones to get me the most amount to borrow. Tldr: Professional, Friendly and commutative (non pushy) estate agents - you'll do well with this agency.

From the moment that Dan walked through the door, to the final nail biting moments before exchange of contracts, the staff were a haven of calm reassurance during a difficult market. They found the right buyer at the right time, and helped to ensure that we would be able to move before the worst of the winter. Great service throughout, from initial appraisal of our property and proposed valuation (less than we wanted, but more realistic) through production of sales literature (very good; captured the essence of the property and its potential in words and pictures) and arranging purchaser appointments. We struck lucky, with eight appointments on the first weekend after the property went 'live', and an offer the following week which we accepted. Curchods insist on the vendors being absent during purchaser visits, and this proved much better than having us hovering in the background (purchasers are, not unnaturally, more inclined to make more honest observations if it's just the agent present). Curchods gave us detailed feedback from each viewing; and after the offer was accepted, they were invaluable in keeping us informed (and reassured) and helping move matters along. There were a few hiccups along the way - there always are with house sales - but no major problems and we exchanged contracts about 15 weeks after the initial viewings (it could have been sooner, but we encountered delays with our onward purchase).

Curchods and in particular the Guildford branch, including Bertie, Garry and Rob were fantastic, very helpful and provided us with invaluable advice during the sale of our property. Unfortunately, due to circumstances outside our control and with a heavy heart we had to pull out of the sale. The team did a fantastic job or reassuring us and putting us at ease. Thanks once again! Dan, Bertie, Lisa and Tony were a great help throughout what is often a stressful process. Communication was very good and as a result we completed very fast (10 weeks!).
