The statements made in this review are false and misleading.
OPA provides a comprehensive Buyer Information Pack for every property we market, containing all material information available relating to the property. Relevant information is also clearly stated within the property advertisement.
Where a property is operated as a House in Multiple Occupation (HMO), a copy of the HMO licence will be made available for prospective purchasers to inspect prior to proceeding. Where planning permission or a HMO licence is required, this information is disclosed. Conversely, where planning permission or a HMO licence is not required, no such documentation will exist and therefore cannot be provided.
OPA takes compliance and transparency extremely seriously and encourages all purchasers to carry out their own due diligence, supported by their solicitor and professional advisers, before committing to any purchase.
If you are a genuine customer and believe any information provided by OPA was inaccurate, please contact us directly so that we can investigate your concerns.
If this review has been posted by an individual who has not had any dealings with OPA, we would remind them that publishing false and damaging statements about a business may constitute defamation and/or malicious falsehood. Furthermore, posting fake reviews is prohibited under UK consumer protection legislation. The UK's competition regulator, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) has powers to investigate and take action against fake reviews and review manipulation.
