From my initial meeting to discuss the potential of selling my mother's house, right through to completion, the Perry Bishop team was a 'dream team'. It's a long time since I've sold a property and a lot has changed in the intervening years, but led by Gerry and Jade, I was guided through the process and, throughout, kept informed on the outcome of viewings, and the legal procedures and progress. The marketing of the property ensured that an excellent sale price was achieved. I cannot speak highly enough of the friendly, prompt and professional way Jade, in particular, handled the whole sale journey for me.

A review with a difference, Perry Bishop were amazing from start to finish, very professional and kept us fully informed. This company needs an award for dealing with the “buyer” of our house who was the most difficult purchaser you could ever hope not to meet, uncommunicative, over demanding and eventually a time waster, pulling the offer hours before we were due to exchange contracts. Despite agreeing to every demand from the “buyer”, including a full house clean, this “buyer” obviously couldn’t actually afford the house and managed to waste a lot of people’s time and money. Again this is a classic case of the estate agent working tirelessly for no reward as there is no financial commitment from a buyer till the eleventh hour. Personally, I think if you offer you should be made to put your money where your mouth is. Anyway, fantastic job by the team in Faringdon and thanks for all the hard work.

So glad I chose perry bishop as the estate agent for my sale after meeting a few agents it was Lucy from perry bishop who was so friendly and helpful and just generally gave the company a great first impression so I decided to go with them. As it’s a shared ownership property it’s a bit more complicated than a standard sale and Jade from perry bishop really helped at being a go between for myself, the buyer, solicitor’s and the management company. Jade did so much chasing for me and on the day our RICS valuation expired she chased to make sure the buyer delivered his documents in time for exchange …we exchanged at 4:30pm! I don’t think anything would have been as smooth if we’d have gone with another agent!

It has been a difficult road to navigate, given our unique circumstances, but Gerry has remained focused and true, supporting us on our testing journey. She has become a true friend and someone we will go back to time and again should we wish to move. The whole Perry Bishop team are very different to the stereotypical view of an Estate Agent and support their customer weather selling, of buying, as you would want to be supported.
