As a group of 4 students we hadn't had the easiest job finding a flat in Edinburgh until we got into contact with Umega. Lindsay was very friendly and professional, and guided us through everything we needed to do right up until moving into our flat. The application process was simple and there was always the option of contacting the team for support if needed.

Umega have been a revelation for us. After a poor experience with another letting agent , we hoped that Umega could restore our faith, and they have. The difference is that they do what they say they are going to do and do it with professionalism, knowledge, courtesy, humour and diligence. They have achieved a much better rent than we were getting prior to going with them and to say I am pleased with their performance so far would be an understatement. Robert Gardiner has been especially helpful going beyond the call on several occasions and I thank them all most sincerely. A year on and all still good. We have kept our tenant through lockdown and Umega, although often short staffed in the office always have someone on hand and have kept us updated throughout with tips and help. Thanks again 10/10

My experience with Umega Lettings was for the viewing of several flats as a future tenants, in several occasions. Rebecca, Lucy and Kim were simply amazing! They were friendly, smiling, helpful, honest and reliable. Once I asked if I could come viewing earlier because I had an appointment, and Rebecca was there 10 minutes before (even if it was very early in the morning) only to help me with this. They are also very responsive to any question by e-mail and communication was very quick. Even if I do not have experience with them as a tenant, I have no doubt that they are amazing also from this point of view.

Umega were instrumental in getting a flat for my partner and I, especially thanks to Natasha who was our letting negotiator and Storm, our letting co-ordinator. Both helped us every step of the way, always on hand if we had any questions via phone or email with no delay. Their processes are very swift and efficient as we viewed the flat, processed our application, processed our deposit, completed all security checks and provided the tenancy agreement to sign all within a week! It really made what can be a stressful ordeal, a breeze especially in our scenario. I can’t recommend Umega enough.

Erin was extremely helpful, and very efficient with Co-ordinating a recent property management issue. She is a credit to Umega and although we are not clients/customers directly we were impressed by her caring and pleasant approach to the problems identified. Umega are easy to work with, no stressful delays. Emily, in particular, was always friendly and cheerful while staying completely professional and efficient. It was a pleasure finding a flat with her expert help. Thank you, Emily! I have now been a tenant for over 2 years. My flat is managed by Upod3 who are doing a great job. If there’s anything wrong the response is rapid and thorough. The safety checks are in time and thorough as well. This all makes a person feel secure, in good hands. Add to that, that all is done with cheerful and polite good humour, and you gave a perfect score.

I have been renting property for 10 years (in both London and Edinburgh) and I have had the best experience hands down with Emily & the team at Umega. They are professional, responsive and also really kind and considerate. The property I moved into was immaculate and they ensured I was fully supported with all steps of the move.

Umega has managed our property in Edinburgh for a number of years and the service has been faultless whether they are organising maintenance, managing departing tenants, organising inspections, managing remedial works, or the process of marketing. Most recently from the moment we were notified our tenants were leaving Umega were on the case and within a matter of days had remarketed the property and identified the works required to ensure the property was up to scratch. Being an overseas landlord we relied on Umega to organise everything and can genuinely say there wasn’t a moment in the process where we didn’t feel up to date and supported. Everyone we spoke to at Umega was super efficient, responsive and enormously helpful. They have genuinely been a pleasure to work with and we cannot recommend their team highly enough.
