I have recently sold my late mothers property through JW Wood in Durham and really cannot recommend them highly enough. From the very beginning Geoff Graham (probably the best estate agent in the world ever!!) was professional, friendly, helpful and sensitive at what was a difficult time for me. Throughout the sales process JW Wood looked after the unoccupied house for us. Geoff Graham and Jonathan Wheeler could not have been more helpful with this and responded in super fast time when any little problems occurred taking huge weight from my shoulders. In addition the Durham office staff were always very pleasant and responsive. During the after sales process I was supported every step of the way by Gill Anderson who was absolutely fantastic. We hit a few bumps along the road in the process as is often the case in house sales, and Gill was always responsive, helpful and reassuring. She kept in touch regularly throughout the process and is an absolute credit to the JW Wood business. If you are selling a house in Durham JW Wood should be your first port of call.

Excellent communication from the whole team. This was extremely welcome as we live 140 miles away form where the property was being sold. From valuation to viewings to offers and the eventual sale we were kept informed throughout the whole process. Could not have asked for more in this stressful period. After our house sale fell through (under another estate agent) 24h before completion Helen and Ann kept us informed and helped us with the solution that was found. Still not heard back from original estate agent. So if we ever sell/buy in the future we are likely to come back to JW Wood instead.

Very impressed with the service received from JW Wood, Durham. Made the fatal mistake of originally trying to sell our property through an online ‘hybrid’ agent. After 6 months of dreadful communication and poor customer service we took our house off the market and relisted with JW Wood. Great communication throughout from all members of the Durham office, (as well as colleagues in the Chester-le-Street branch). Being able to quickly speak to your estate agent makes a massive difference when you’re selling your home and issues arise, (which they always do). Calls were dealt with professionally or returned quickly. Genuinely think that our sale would not have progressed to completion if we had gone with another local agent.
