Ok so where could I possibly even start when it comes to explaining the diabolical service I received when dealing with whitegates in Dronfield.... Nothing but disappointment from start to finish. After a rigorous 5 weeks of waiting to even see if I got the property (and finding out I had actually been excepted but nobody in the office could be bothered to even contact me to let me know) Finally moved in and after three months of living there they call me to say I owe two months of rent!!! In a rude manner I might add. This is to my surprise as I knew full well I was depositing the money for them to take monthly. After a couple of days of confusion on both sides we came to discover that Whitagtes Dronfield in fact FORGOT to set my direct debit up in the first place 🤣 (second red flag that I should of considered) This agency is proving to be quite useless but hey ho I'm there now and how bad could they be? Fast forward to the first house Check we came to find the two battery's in the smoke alarms needed replacing, fair enough and I would have just brought two battery's with my own money to get them back up running no problem at all But L who was the estate agent dealing with me and that property actually thought it would be better to give me two 50p smoke alarms and then actually bragged that she would charge the landlord £25 pounds EACH for these, with a smile on her face for doing it. I really knew at that point I wasn't dealing with a nice person at all. L stole our deposit when the house was absolutely perfect upon return and after witnessing her attitude, no surprise.. Clearly had her eye on our deposit from the second she saw us. Extremely ungenuine and cold service from whitegates Dronfield and I really would avoid at all costs. I will be contacting the landlord directly to put forward my expiriences with L and this agency he let's manage the rentals and show him how he is being squeezed for every penny possible by these people... There's other agency's out there guys i promise you'll regret unsung these....

Really poor service, reported mould for four years nothing was done.

Don’t expect any contact from these people repairs are shocking the communication skill with With tenants past is absolutely shocking worst regret of my life is renting from these people couldn’t fix the shower screen for two years

I've asked the company to contact my landlord to resolve some issues with items they have supplied, Each time I'm told It's 'put on a record'. These things are affecting my personal and professional life now and I still receive nothing back from Whitegates. I've had to put things in place to resolve my problems personally, costing me money and with no support regarding things I can't resolve.

Don't even show up to let you view properties, complete waste of time. Booked the day off work aswell for it. AVOID

Whitegates Dronfield have pacified my landlord to get away with a years worth of worries (left 'reported') to then ring me as soon as soon the landlord wishes to sell up to say that 'the landlord says it's okay to resolve these problems at your expense'.I've explained that I work at the hospital and this has affected my working patterns and they have had zero sympathy.Thanks to the ladies who have been absolutely wonderful who work there, unfortunately the practices are sub par and their policies regarding dealing with tenants are subpar.

Contacted this letting agency via email. Wanted to book viewing of a property we really liked. Received responses back that were strangely abrupt and unprofessional. Made us feel like we were imposing. Gave us wrong viewing dates too. Really glad we figured it out before signing any contracts.

Completely shocking Customer service, rude staff in the office. Avoid at all costs.
