EweMove Dorking & Leatherhead

Without Graham we would still be trying to sell! It took more than 19 months to sell our property. We finally placed the house with Graham from EweMove, and he helped us through the protracted negotiations with our [fourth set of] buyers. Without the lovely Graham, we would not have achieved the sale, I am certain. Along the way he provided all sorts of contacts when we were struggling to find specialists. Nothing was too much trouble, and he was always good humoured despite many setbacks. We cannot recommend him more highly.

EweMove recently sold my property for me and I could not have had a better experience. Graham Faulkner from the Dorking office went above and beyond and dealing with him was an absolute pleasure. He was always available but never hassled me, unlike estate agents from other companies I've dealt with in the past. From him taking on my property to completion of the sale was less than four months, which is amazing especially considering that this was during Covid and that it had been on the market with another agent for 15 months prior. The previous agent kept trying to get me to reduce the price but Graham gave me an accurate and thorough valuation and I feel it sold for what it was worth, which was good for both myself and the purchaser. I could not be happier that I switched from the previous agent to Graham at EweMove.

Graham was extremely helpful and thorough throughout the entire process of us buying our flat. As first time buyers, we had a lot of questions and Graham was always extremely quick to answer questions via WhatsApp and chase people up. We used ASAP as recommended by Graham which was really helpful and saved us a lot of time by having another party to do the chasing up throughout the process. When we completed Graham met us at the flat to give us the keys and as a lovely touch gave us a bottle of champagne. We would definitely recommend using Graham and EweMove.

Review re-visited. 2 years ago, I gave a 5 star rating based upon my experience of Ewemove finding me a Tenant until the market picked up, and the promises made in respect of their managed service. It was always my intention to sell the property, and now that this has been done, I can review the complete picture. If I could do it all again, which I have no intention of doing by the way, I would not entrust my property to Ewemove, my principle complaint being the state in which the property was handed back. Items were missing from the original inventory, the garage resembled a beach, the garden had been neglected, the carpets smelled dirty, the self-cleaning oven was disgusting. Annoying, as before handing the property in to the care of Ewemove, I paid to have it deep cleaned and was assured that it would be handed back in that state. There were positives of course, hence the 2 stars, head office were exemplary, and the statements received each month were excellent. But all in all, not worth the 10% of the rental income I handed over each month. My buyers must have agreed as they asked for access ahead of time to have the carpets cleaned. In summary, the sale and the support offered by head office for the let was excellent, ensuring that the Tenants lived up to their responsibilities and handing the place back in good condition was poor.

Above and beyond… I cannot praise EweMove Estate Agents enough. I have just bought a house on my own for the first time after going through a divorce. When I first viewed the property I was scared and unsure and found the prospect extremely daunting, but Graham Faulkner was amazing. He was kind and supportive and very understanding of my situation and was always available to answer my questions and offer his advice. Not only did he liaise between myself and the sellers, he listened to my frustrations, kept me calm and positive, he also helped me by recommending ASAP Conveyancers, house insurance and a local cleaner… Definitely going above and beyond what I expected from an Estate Agent! I love my new home, getting here was tough, but I felt supported every step of the way. Thank you, Graham.
