I used Jones Robinson of Devizes to sell my current property (complete this Friday). I've found them, and especially Rosie, to be very professional, good communicators and with their fingers on the pulse. They did everything expected of them e.g. chasing me up rather than the other way around, which is hard to come by in these very busy times according to stories I hear from friends that are either selling or buying through other estate agents. I could have got a cheaper agent elsewhere but as the saying goes, "you get what you pay for". My goal from the outset was to find an agent that provided me with the best service rather than cheapest, which I certainly achieved. The only very slight criticism is in regards to their partnered conveyancers who I decided to use. Whilst Jones Robinsons does act as a middle-man/woman and chase them up, they are based in the north of England and distance-conveyancing doesn't come without its issues and risks, especially when they don't use DocuSign or review scanned paperwork before you sign and post, which did cause frustration (but not delay to completion I should add). That said, looking at this from an evidence perspective, they did facilitate completion on my property within about 8 weeks of receiving an offer, which is impressive in these times. I have extremely positive feedback to give Jones Robinson. I viewed my prospective house twice, both at times convenient to myself even during lock down, and had all my questions answered at the viewings. The conveyancing process had a few hiccups related mainly to delays caused by covid restrictions, however Andrew Francis at Jones Robinson (or Mikyle if Andrew was unavailable) was there at the end of a phone, pushing things through, passing information up and down the chain and calmly helping to manage my frustrations as dates slipped. I never once had a call not returned promptly or ever felt Andrew was being anything but honest and proactive. I can't say the bottle of gin presented to me with the keys to the house swayed my opinion at all but it was welcome on moving-in day!
