Martin & Co were not our agent but were in fact the agent for our buyers. We had some very frustrating delays at the top of the chain that were putting the chain at serious risk of collapse. I have had mostly negative past experiences of estate agents in the past unfortunately (including our own selling agent), but this branch of Martin & Co (Director James Gough in particular) were a pleasure to deal with - never thought I'd say this about any estate agent! From initial viewing, through to completion they were incredibly helpful, genuine, and communication was great. We had several delays from our side, issues with some paperwork, leases etc, and a VERY nervous seller so not an easy sale, but James really went the extra mile to ensure that the sale completed amicably, and that ALL parties were happy and kept updated on developments / issues.
