Poor service. Couldn't get in touch with the Landlord regarding some details we wanted and Martin & Co wouldn't give us, and after 2 years was asked to pay extra for a pet they didn't know we had, even though we'd asked about pets when first inquiring and then brought him into the office with us when we paid the deposit. Thankfully found something else and eventually moved away from the area.
Unfortunately, our experience with Martin & Co has been extremely disappointing from start to finish. When we moved into the property, it was not in a fit or acceptable condition. The house had not been properly cleaned, the flooring was dirty, belongings from previous tenants had been left behind, and there were broken toilet seats and a broken shower. These issues should have been addressed before new tenants were allowed to move in. More recently, we discovered that the property we are currently renting has been sold — something we were never informed of, despite being assured that we would be kept updated on any significant developments. Finding this out independently online was both shocking and distressing. When I contacted the office to query this, the member of staff I spoke to was abrupt, dismissive, and rude, and showed no empathy or willingness to apologise for the lack of communication or the upset caused. Overall, the standard of service, communication, and professionalism we have received has been very poor. I would not recommend Martin & Co based on our experience. Lovely thing to do to people with disabilities just before Christmas. Can’t imagine the further stress and upset this would have caused if we had not found a property to move too.

Poor company that if you rent from you should not expect to receive your deposit back. Leaking shower damaged our property you are taking LD to claim on your own insurance for the personal property damage and when it comes to it the person that had fitted the shower had not fitted it correctly stuffed old curtains under the shower tray to support it and this then retained water when the pipe work leaked
Shocking company. Well definitely90% of the staff that work in crewe branch. if could give no stars i would. Do not trust them. Sly would never rent from them again would rather be on the streets
I had a disappointing experience with Martin & Co. I reached out via email on multiple occasions to enquire about a property I was genuinely interested in, but I never received any response—no acknowledgment, no follow-up, nothing. It’s incredibly frustrating when you're ready to move forward and the agency doesn’t even bother to reply. Basic communication should be the minimum standard in this industry, especially when it comes to potential tenants or buyers. Based on this lack of professionalism, I wouldn’t feel confident using their services in the future.
I experienced extremely poor customer service at the Nantwich branch. In early June, I contacted them multiple times to arrange a viewing, but I was consistently told that someone would call me back to set it up. They never specified who that person was or why they couldn't arrange the viewing while I was on the phone, which led me to give up. Since the house was still available by August, I finally secured a viewing and submitted an application to rent the property. After several follow-ups to see if there had been any progress in the process and being repeatedly told that someone would call me back, I received a phone call yesterday informing me that I need to meet the landlord in person before they decide whether to rent the property to me. In all my previous experiences with estate agents, I had never been told that I needed to have direct contact with the landlord for a fully managed property. My question is: what is your role in managing the property if I am left to deal directly with the landlord, and why should I be paying for your services?
I did not consent to your company putting up a billboard outside my house. You went to the wrong house. Please remove it immediately! Please repair damaged areas (drill holes)! R.C.
Our properly is managed by Martin&Co directly. We contacted them regarding our boiler breakdown down 4 days ago now. They apparently set up an appointment for someone to turn up that got unknowingly cancelled. Martin&Co have accused myself … More
