However, when I was getting upset (due to a hidden disability) Sarah came across to basically tell me to leave. As someone who is finding their disability needs are blocking them being able to apply for and secure a home where I will be able to live a basic life with my fiance, instead of us needing to live apart, being treated in this way is just appalling. I hope Sarah learns from what I managed to say and doesn't continue to behave the way she did today. As I said before I left, I am sorry my disabled existence is too offensive for her.

Returned property in a spotless condition, deposit agreed to be returned in full. A month later I'm still chasing it...very poor end of tenancy after 4 years of renting. Very disappointed.
Staff don't know how to drive. And will deny wrong doing even with evidence. No morals whatsoever.

I initially looked at a property in Nantwich through Martin and Co, where Jack McDermott showed me around and would be leading the renting negotiations and contract. Once a monthly price was agreed, I paid a holding fee with the intention of moving in. I handed in my notice and was ready to move in on a Monday. On that Friday, Jack emailed me and told me that I would be unable to rent the property. This gave me three days to sort somewhere before I was homeless, to which I rented a property that was already good to go from this company. When I was in the property, Martin and Co were relatively helpful with any issues I had, with Gina in the Crewe/Nantwich office being very helpful on several occasions. However, when we came to move out, the facts the company stated about the state the house was left in were highly inaccurate. This evidently was an attempt to gain the landlord my deposit, and therefore keep that landlord happy and on their books. Nevertheless, it has resulted in a battle through DPS for my deposit. I was fortunate to take photos and images to prove the condition the property was left in, however, this was a lot of unnecessary hassle and a blatant money grab. I would not recommend Martin and Co, and will not be a returning tenant, or purchasing a property off them in the future.
