Rude staff
I find the staff very rude when speaking to to customers. Customer services goes a long way but in this case its non existence. I'm a recruiter so I undestand how working well with people goes a long way and Robert Watts could learn from some customer service training.
I rented a property for over 8 years, which was left in immaculate condition on the 24th July 2019. Passed all the checks no problem. But I have not received my bond due to Robert Watts not being able to determine that no rent is owed, because they have changed their systems 3 times according to Hillary the manager. We provided evidence of payment on the 12th August. Hillary advised us that they would need to check with the accountants. I have called a number of times and its always the same answer the accounts are still checking it. As it stands I am still waiting for clarification, with no clear date given. I have now had confirmation that my bond will be released in 5 days time from DPS and an apology from Hillary for the time it took for the accounts to verify my payments. October the 4th.
Time wasters
The worst experience of my life !! If I could give no stars I honestly would stay well clear if you want to rent a property , very unprofessional and uncaring extremely rude staff too ..
Don’t listen to vendors
Dont know why my previous review was removed! Rented my first property via Robert Watts. On the day of moving in the bath caused a huge water leak which ruined the hallway! to the day I moved out it had never been sorted and the damage was all still there. Had countless water leaks at the property from different windows etc and had bad mould. They couldn't care less. The house was practically falling to bits when I said I would be considering to hold the rent until the issues were resolved I was issued with my paperwork telling me to move out of the property within 3 months as "the owner of the property is wanting to sell" Surprise surprise the property was back on the market within weeks of me moving! Absolute joke and should be illegal to keep properties in that state then evict someone afterwards when you should fix it! Deposit was spanked for every little thing they could find. Tried charging me to replace a blind that was damaged from one of the several water leaks, The cheek! The second property I moved in via Robert Watts wasn't too bad but again, When issues arise they couldn't care less. All for the landlord, couldn't care less about the tenant as long as they are getting there cut!
