Had them out to value our house. The large chap who attended spent most of his time slating the others we had out already. Valued our house £30k under everyone else and told us he had thirty years experience and the others were just trying to make money. Strangely we got £25k over his valuation. To me it seems their tactic is value for quick sales to maximise their profits. However the most off putting thing was him spending 20 minutes telling us about the bad points of other agents, rather than the good points of his.

Looking back at our records, our appraisal put the guide price at £190,000 to £200,000, which aligns with the price the property was subsequently listed for with your chosen agent. While our business model naturally aligns with achieving the highest sale price possible (as higher prices mean better outcomes for both our clients and us!), we recognize that valuation is a human process. Even with decades of experience, market appraisals aren't an exact science, and we can sometimes get it wrong.
We also sincerely apologize for your experience during the valuation visit. Our focus should always be on demonstrating our own strengths and how we can support you, rather than discussing other agents. Terrible estate agent. No wonder others have left reviews about them people should be able to leave reviews and the estate agent shouldn't whinge about them reviews. It's not a spam message. Also people are able to leave a one Star review and tte estate agent doesn't have to know the person or people who leave a message about a business. I found this estate agent to be unhelpful so a one star review was left. Maybe this estate agent should not go and say something about other people first then they themselves at hunters would not get a low rating.
