I knew from 2024 that I wanted to put my house on the market, and during that time I spoke to and met with a few different estate agents. Sam Bahia, Branch Manager at Robinson Michael & Jackson, came to visit me and view my house. Out of all the estate agents I met, I built a really good rapport with Sam. As someone who was originally a first-time buyer and didn’t know much about the process, I found Sam to be genuinely patient, approachable and very good at explaining everything to me. I eventually decided to put my house on the market in January 2026. Because of the impression Sam had made during our first meeting, and the fact that he would occasionally check in to see how I was getting on and whether I was ready to start the moving process, I never felt pressured. I also remember that within around 15 minutes of my house being put on the market, I received an email from Robinson Michael & Jackson, which showed me how proactive the team were from the very beginning. One of the biggest things for me was that I travelled abroad and was out of the UK for five weeks while my house was on the market. During that time, I had viewings taking place and even agreed on a price while I was away. Despite being out of the country, I had complete confidence that Robinson Michael & Jackson would manage the sale without any issues. Everyone I dealt with was amazing when it came to communication. The whole team were professional, responsive and kept me informed throughout what can be a very stressful process. I also had an issue with my purchase, and the communication between Robinson Michael & Jackson and my buyer was excellent. They helped maintain communication and kept things moving, rather than allowing the situation to fall apart. I believe my buyer would say the same, as he didn't simply walk away from the transaction. There really aren't enough words to explain how much stress and pressure Robinson Michael & Jackson have helped ease throughout this process. Selling a house and moving can be incredibly stressful, but having a team I could trust made a huge difference.
