Do not use this institution, the attitude of the staff is bad, as if they have not woken up, they have completely forgotten what they said in the first 2 days, and they will come to accuse you, and the complaint department will even kill you to intimidate you. Do not use it
Poor service, unorganised and unprofessional
Incredibly unprofessional. Did not turn up for viewings on 2 occasions. No one seems to know what each member in the office is doing. Not once had the courtesy to follow up on calls after they had promised. Pompous, supercilious and downright shabby, The viewer when he finally did arrive looked liked he would rather be playing his xbox . Stay well clear.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism
Great if your a Landlord, terrible if you're a tenant. No hot water in property and took 3 weeks to fix. Property left with a large hole in the front door, but was not fixed throughout Tenancy. Came to moving out, and they charged me for the damage caused by the guys who fixed the hot water. Not to mention they inspect the property every 2-3 months so good luck getting any privacy. Avoid these Letting Agents at all cost!
I have been renting a house for more than 2 years and everything was ok as long as we decided to move out. Than they started to lie how many keys we were given (when it was clearly stated in our contract) pushing us to make more copies and trying to push us to take a cleaning and painting company recommended by them, which was running, we found, by some relatives of agency staff. At the end one of ladies owned up but we were not said Sorry for the all mess.
I've been emailing Belvoir Lettings for months and no-one has got back to me. very disappointed with their service
It appears that landlords get excellent service from Belvoir but tenants are regarded with a total lack of consideration. It is quite amazing that viewings are only offered after 5:00 pm and not at weekends. How do you arrange a daylight viewing in winter then? Belvoir's understanding of clean is of some concern, similarly their understanding of the word immaculate. In a nutshell if you are looking for a property be prepared for things not to be as advertised or expected. The tenancy agreement is weighted heavily in retaining as much of the deposit as possible on termination of the tenancy. If you are a landlord be happy!
Belvoir manage a property right next door to mine and we have had nothing but problems from their tenants, you call them to complain and they never sound interested and the person who deals with lettings is never around and they never call you back ! the tenants have just moved thank god but they were a complete nightmare and there was police involvement so if you value your property do not go with Belvoir as they do not vet tenants properly and you will end up with a trashed house and lots of complains ! steer clear!
