We believe this review relates to the same tenancy matter we have recently responded to, where a significant leak unfortunately made the property temporarily unsuitable to remain in while investigations and repairs were carried out. During this period, the landlord funded alternative accommodation, and our team helped coordinate temporary housing and furniture removals at no cost to the tenants. When it became clear that contractors were unable to provide a definitive timescale for completion of the works, the option was also given to end the tenancy early without notice or penalty, so alternative long-term accommodation could be secured. We fully appreciate that being required to leave your home unexpectedly is upsetting and disruptive. However, we do feel this review is unfair and does not reflect the level of support that was put in place during a difficult and unusual situation. We are an independent, family-run business, and reviews like this can be very damaging; particularly where we feel they do not give a balanced reflection of the circumstances or the efforts made by our team to help. We also always encourage tenants, landlords and clients to keep important matters in writing, and our team will always do the same wherever appropriate so there is a clear record for everyone involved. We are sorry that you feel disappointed with your experience, but we are confident that we acted professionally, practically and with the intention of supporting all parties through a challenging situation.
