I was a tenant with Newman for 2 years and had no issues with them. The property was well looked after when we did the viewing and clean to an acceptabled level, similar to when we moved in (I don't believe a professional cleaning was carried out, but still ok). The agency was quick on talking to the landlord about our request to remove some furniture from the house and sorting out the contract. They've always forward my maintenance requests to the landlord and replied to "most" of my emails. The email response has improved recently since they've created a dedicated email for maintenance requests. Also any inspection or contractor's visits were communicated by email early enough so I could plan to be at the property on those days. I didn't have any issues with agents or with the return of my deposit (the house was returned in a really good condition similar to when we moved in ofc). The only reason for a 4 star review is one maintenance request we had on the radiator (not major since it was summer) took a really long time to get fixed. The landlord has requested it to be checked by his plumber in aditional to Newman's plumber, which has cause some delay and confusion. I believe that at the end Newman's contractor had an approved order to fix it, but was postponing it since it was summer and nobody followed up with him (me or Newman).
